Factors such as hygiene, health and safety requirements – as well as factory aesthetics – may require the storage to be covered. In these cases, we cover your BCM storage with steel sheet cladding at an additional cost.
Available in several colors. The standard recommended color is RAL 7044 light grey, which is ideal for dusty environments.
The wall covering is included with our fully automatic storage systems, the BCM AutoStorages, but can also be added to our manual or semi-automatic systems.
Aside from enhancing the factory aesthetics, blocking UV rays and reducing dust transfer, the cladding acts as a safety barrier, preventing access during operation. It also keeps dies from falling through the backside of the storage if they are handled incorrectly or if software should fail.
If the storage is installed up against a wall, this side of the storage does not need to have wall covering.
The wall covering have been developed for an industrial indoor climate in connection with new construction. The core is hot galvanized steel which has been surface-treated into a strong and maintenance-friendly product. Perfect for the harsh environment, e.g., a corrugated board business with a lot of dust.
We normally use the standard color light grey, such as RAL 7044. It works great in dusty environments but other colors are available on request.
