The red die spacer is a BCM-designed product. The purpose of the die spacer is to ensure that the knives and rubber on the rotary dies are not damaged during storage when the storage is designed for double dies, meaning one die laying on top of another die.
BCM has found the solution that helps maintain the life and correct function of rotary dies knives so they are not damaged. The product is incredibly easy to handle as the operator just places two on each side of the top rotary die side. The die spacers are easy to put on by hand.
The red die spacers are produced in solid rubber by our local manufacturer. Again, this is another product where BCM is decreasing need for transportation and thus reducing the environmental impact on our world and nature.
