PrimeStorage FRP2, T-type

The BCM PrimeStorage FRP2, T-type is a manual storage system designed for flatbed dies, rotary dies and printing plates ( stereos / Clichés). It is one of the most trusted manual storage solutions in the corrugated industry. Designed for optimal space utilization and long-term performance in environments with limited floor space. Optimized space and smart operation

This double-rack layout with an overhead-mounted, manually oprated crane is ideal for facilities with sufficient space where a single-rack setup may not provide enough capacity. The crane supports 360-degree rotation, enabling tool delivery in any surrounding direction—eliminating the need for dedicated garages. When not in use, the crane can be “parked” higher up to allow free passage in front of the storage.
Printing plates are placed on the lowest level of the storage and are handled manually.

The storage structure is built primarily from galvanized steel, while the crane and crane rails are constructed using a combination of aluminum, galvanized steel, and powder-coated steel for long-lasting durability and mechanical precision.

Operator-guided efficiency

The crane is fully guided by the operator. It moves manually along the overhead rails, while vertical sleigh movement is motor-assisted for efficient lifting and lowering. This enables the operator to handle tools smoothly and safely—especially in tall storage setups.
A camera monitor supports precise positioning of the gripper when picking up or placing rotary dies, minimizing the risk of collisions or damage.

Efficient tool handling with trolleys

The storage trolleys are designed to hold three cassettes, three double-dies or four single-dies or multiple ASP8 profiles as standard. Customized trolleys can be designed to accommodate both flatbed dies and printing plates or rotary dies and plating plates in a combined setup or to meet specific needs. Each trolley is mounted on wheels and designed for easy maneuvering by a single operator.
Each cassette contains a complete die set for production (cutting die, stripping die, guillotine board, and printing drawing).

During operation, the operator brings the trolley directly into the storage area and places it within arm’s reach. This minimizes walking distance, reduces physical strain, and significantly enhances efficiency during loading and unloading.
