The bcm Mobilator for a roof mounted traverse system is a flexible system, having a very long range. The Mobilator is ideal in assisting the operator in collecting the dies directly from the storage in cases where the storage is located close to the converting line.
The traverse system runs easily due to bcm’s own designed aluminium rails, and as an operator it is simple to use the Mobilator and move the dies single handedly.
The bcm Mobilator “Roof mounted traverse system” must be fixed in the roof in some way. Therefore the customer is required to have a dedicated area and adequate roof for this. However, as the bcm Mobilator is designed only to handle rotary dies and flat bed dies, and as the aluminium Mobilator construction in itself is very light, the Mobilator can be installed in even moderate roof constructions.

Our Mobilator for flat bed and rotary dies handling are ideal solutions to optimize the operators’ safety and efficiency when setting up the flat bed or rotary die cutter. Specifically, they make it possible for one operator to change flat bed or rotary dies single-handedly without any heavy lifting. In addition, they aid with compliance to today’s health and safety regulations as almost all formats of flat bed or rotary dies exceed the maximum weight that a single operator is allowed to carry. The Mobilator consists of modified jib cranes that are adapted to fit the flat bed or rotary die cutter and the factory’s layout.
